Im thinking of using either:
Antec 920/h70/h60 pump block on this or use a real proper 240 copper rad on it..ive got a 240 st30 sitting here

I built a custom loop tearing apart an H55 and H90, running them in serial to a single 280mm radiator. They are older models, so unsure if it'll match up with yours.

PM me if you want to chat - happy to try and help.

Adding a copper rad would really help with the maintenance of that loop since mixed metal loops are never a good idea. Most of these loops use 10mm inner diameter tubing, so you should be fine using any barbs like that, and tubing in that size can easily be found at a local hardware store if you look for it (you can even find barbs there, just remember to use Teflon tape on them). Adding a T fitting will help with filling the loop and draining it for air, more on how here.

Either way a true copper rad is going to improve performance, just make sure you properly clean out the blocks for any aluminium particles that may be left in them. Also depending on the pump strength, it would perform just about the same as a Fractal Design Kelvin s24.

Ok so I have a h100i v1 lying around here and currently running a Galax 980 ti HOF.. I also have this beefy heatsinks from a old AMD motherboard that was on the vrm that I might be able to use to cool the vrm all I need is some thermal adhesive and that's not a big problem and should be relatively easy to get.

What I was thinking is using an old intel stock cooler to blow around the vrm. My setup is as follows.

Phanteks ph-TC14PE as CPU cooler
Corsair air 540 with 3x intake in front no fans at top. I think the CPU cooler will block the tubes on the h100i from reaching the top so I might have to install the h100i in front as exhaust or intake.
Galax 980 ti HOF

here is a picture of that Heatsink I can use on the vrm.

I'm not mainly doing this to get better overclocking but better thermals and noise. I thought I have this h100i lying around and might as well ask here for advice on if I should be worrying about it

This is the pcb of the 980 ti HOF

Oh just one more thing do I need heatsinks for the memory cause I suppose that also does get a bit hot?
