Like I said b4, I've never actually had mine apart, but plan on it as soon as taxes come back. That guy I mentioned b4 claimed that the stock barbs for both the pump and the radiator where 1/4" outer diamater, so if your not planning on putting larger tubes on it, stick with 1/4" barbs, so you'd be looking for G1/4" 1/4" barbs. I'm personally looking at a reservoir with a pump on it, just not plugging it in unless there is too much resistance, and then, I'd hook it to some sort of controller so I could make it run the same speed as the Antec, til I can afford to upgrade the setup. I'm going to be looking into El-cheapo ways to make a fully water-cooled setup starting from the Antec Kuhler 920. I'll make a build log when I do.

*snip*

Yeah, pretty much the same case. My setup wasn't too bad, when I got it in `07, just totally outdated. also, I totally thought about putting a intake fan in the back panel too, but didn't feel like tearing it completely apart to drill the rivots out of the back panel. But, with the HDD enclosure gone, why didn't you stick one of the 620's in the front? That front panel is totally vented, all the way around! that, and the hole would be covered up by the panel, and the fans would give those vents a glow to them devil-smiley-019.gif I used to take the panel off regularly to dust it out, it's really simple. Pick up on the 2 tabs on side with the side panel, then swing it just a little forward, then pull straight out. It doesn't hurt anything, cause the Power switch slides into a slot. Also, take my advice with the rear fan, the stock one is garbage, less than 30 CFM. With access to a dremel, you could easily make it a 120MM hole, and get this fan. It's been deactivated from Newegg, and it's Loud! But OMG the amount of air it pushes. The noise is actually from the airflow, not the fan. Judging sound with my Antec 920 fans, about 32DB of airflow sound. Also, the aluminum housing unscrews from the fan, and can be painted. I painted mine black to match my caserolleyes.gif I put the size that fits the hole in it when I gave it to my brother, but the same fan, minus the LED's. I had all intentions of keeping it looking good, cause I was giving it to my brother after the fail frankenstien I made him when I was younger. The way I see that case, it's a Mini Lian-Li A05N. I think there needs to be more cases built like those, *Hint Hint Antec, NZXT* I mean really, who's gonna pay Silverstone price for their budget build?

Anyone tried this on a direct cu ii GTX580? If so, Were you able to keep the backplate attached?

So you get the original bracket, cut off the mounting points, cable tie it loosely to the GPU and then offer up the CPU block, match the luggs up an d tighten the cable ties to lock it in place?? Seems a much better way of doing it. Love the custom brackets that French guy made on page 2, he should make more and sell them! Good little earner that would be!

Very interesting...anyone use back plates with this mod? Curious if there's room still with the zip ties on the back like that.

anyone know what bios will allow me to surpass 915mhz clock wall?

If you can get more volts while keeping temps good then maybe but its really the chip that allows how much of a oc you can get.
