Little update for you guys...

I was bored at home today so popped down to the computer store and bought a pair of Arctic F12 Fans to use in Push / Pull on my 620 radiator. My idle temp is now 23c.

Two Arctic F12 120mm Fans

450

I then wrapped the wires in black electrical tape to hide those nasty yellow / red wires.

450

One fan in. I had to buy some new bolts to fit fans to radiator as the Antec 620 only came with 4 and i needed 8 for push / pull

450

Radiator Placement...It sits on the platform in the front of my case (normally inded for an additional HDD Cage but i dont need it) The front 200mm intake fan provides a cold air feed for my radiator. Hopefully it wont dump too much hot air inside the case when under load.

I then reused my Antec 620 fan to cool my VRM's and tucked it inside my braided cables of my GTX580...It sits nicely until my bracket arrives. It will be replaced by a 92mm fan. I then neatened up the wires behind the motherboard tray.

I found a Akasa fan controller in my old CoolerMaster Storm Scout case and modded it a little to fit into the front of my 600t. I reused the front plate supplied with the scout and also the drive bay bracket from the scout too. After a little bit of bending and wiggling, it fits almost perfectly. The Graphics card VRM fan and also the push / pull fans for my 620 are connected up to it.

Here's the finnished product until my bracket arrives.

I have ordered a dual slot I/O bracket for my GTX 580 to make it slimmer, a Fractal Design 92mm white fan with black braided cable and some Diamond IC 7 thermal paste ready for my bracket hopefully next week. Will post more pics when i get it. I will also probably lapp my 620 at the same time! My temps will probably be crazy low the time its lapped and bracket is fitted. Also its still a fairly warm day so when temps drop later will probably be even better!! thumb.gifthumb.gif

Let me know what you think. Im more than happy with the result. The fans only cost me £4 each and a couple of quid for the screws and tape. The fans are silent at full speed, i cant hear them over my AP-15's.

Looks good. The Asus DCII is a great candidate for this mod because of the excellent VRM cooling it has on there.

yep it sure is smile.gif It has a factory fitted heatsink already fitted across the VRM's so its perfect!

My idle temp is now a steady 22c which i believe makes it the coolest running card in this club smile.gifthumb.gifthumb.gif

The backplate also helps cool the VRMs as well.

Holy cow. See I feel like my GPU is either crap or its my PSU. I did have a blackscreen at 1.150v once but haven't had it since, well I do stay away from 1.150v right now. My psu has to be causing bad overclocks... the ripple in the 12v is terrible and GPUz tells me that I'm getting down to 10.03V on max load on the 12v line and 11.82V max....so hopefully that's wrong but even that much of a change is terrible. I'm hoping a new PSU will grant me more OC ability with my 580.

My 580 hit an all-time high temp this AM gaming. with a 27C ambient, freaking gaming in short and short sleeves in my room...gosh, it hit 55C @ 1.1v...

dam it!! i only looked at the chart on page 1 haha

How have you got such low temps? Your card is almost the same as mine i believe? How did you reach over 1ghz on your core? did you need more than 1.150v? If so how do you go above that value in AfterBurner?
