I second that

I love my ram, Corsair XMS6400 C4, they kick butt . The CAS4 one's have Micron D9 chips (at least mine do, not sure about all of them but I think they do), they love the volts and OC like mad, I'm extremely pleased with them. So far I've had them to over 1000mhz at 4-4-4-8 timings 2.25vdimm, and I didn't even max them even yet. If you get the CAS5 corsair, they'll probably have infineon chips or something and won't oc as well, or respond to vdimm like Micron D9 chips do. I had some corsair C5's with the infineon chips, and I wasn't very impressed. Returned them for my C4's (for about the same price woot) and sooo glad I did .

Like nasgul said, the Gskill HZ's are supposed to be nice too, I've heard good things. Are those also micron D9 chips on the gskills?? Anyway good luck with whatever ram you get .

Here they are CORSAIR XMS2 DDR2 800 EPP.

I had a set and they never overclocked higher than 450mhz, I did get them to 450mhz on a 4-4-4-8 @ 2.2v, yet I couldn't even reach 1000mhz on a 5-5-5-15 @ 2.40v, nothing, nada, zilch....I was really bummed out that I couldn't brake the 1000mhz barrier.

Here's a link for the G.Skill: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=101762

And yes, they use Micron D9s.

Hmmm that's strange, did they actually have D9 chips on them? I believe with corsair, if your version# on the sticker is 1.x it should be Micron, if 4.x, 5.x, or 6.x I think it's usually some other crap. If yours really had the D9's on them, they should have been awesome. Mine may be able to hit 1000mhz with even lower than 2.25v, I haven't even tried yet, just went straight to that voltage so far. But at 500fsb 4-4-4-8, mine were just stable for over 24hrs in memtest. I think you either had bad luck and a not-so-great stick, or they didn't have D9's on them.
