650d Build "Black and Blue" (first time wc) - Page 2

Thread Starter
Stock clock for now im happy with performance in every game so far and as its my first time i don't want to push things too far as i only have a 280 + a 120 thin rads (even if they are 30 fpi)

Temps are the highest CPU core is about 55 Celsius and the GPU sits low 40's after gaming so i'm happy with that!

Things i would change next build.

1. Small case (800d would be nice but prob too big on the desk. and HAF isnt my type of design. the Shinobi XL is tempting me right now)

2. Green PCB on the graphics card. I honestly just bought the cheapest 580 that was reference at the time which happened to be the Leadtek ( so i was knew i may want to water cool in the future but didn't think about looks at the time)

Get the EK backplate for the 580. It'll hide the ugly green PCB with a nice black peice of metal... it won't cost that much either.

^This

If you're looking to spend a little less, EVGA also makes a backplate.
