For mosfets, I used the Swiftech MC21's:

For heatsinks, I used the low-profile (9mm high) Enzotech BCC9's:

For the 4pin fan adapters, I used the GELID Solutions Model CA-PWM-02:

Alright guys, here are the final results for my max temps:

BEFORE (STOCK):
2 x Powercolor 7870XT Myst @ 1100/1500 after a Unigine Valley run, ambient temp is 26C:
GPU1: 101C Core, 114C VRM
GPU2: 87C Core, 96C VRM
CPU (Swiftech H220): 63C

AFTER RED MODDING JUST THE PRIMARY GPU1:
2 x Powercolor 7870XT Myst @ 1100/1500 after a Unigine Valley run, ambient temp is 23C:
GPU1: 43C Core, 89C VRM
GPU2: 81C Core, 87C VRM
CPU (Swiftech H220): 57C

AFTER RED MODDING BOTH GPU'S:
2 x Powercolor 7870XT Myst @ 1100/1500 after a Unigine Valley run, ambient temp is 21C:
GPU1: 42C Core, 86C VRM
GPU2: 42C Core, 89C VRM
CPU (Swiftech H220): 55C

I think it's safe to say that these temps rock, and the near-silence is BEAUTIFUL!

Nice, next stop full custom biggrin.gif?

What voltage are your cards running at? Those VRM temps still don't look that great relative to how far core drops. For reference, my 7950 is sitting at 65c core and 72c vrm at 100% load bitcoin mining, 18c outside with window open don't know exact ambient. Overclocked to 1100mhz core at 1.169v, fan speed is at 50% which is bearable, but definitely not ideal.
