Maybe some old plastic from grocery store products?

Anyone use an H100 for this? I'm thinking of attempting it using an H100 I picked up off eBay this weekend, if it comes.

From first hand experience with the HD6850 I know it would be overkill. I'm not sure about other cards though.

Ended up grabbing this:

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/13532/vid-170/Gelid_Icy_Vision_Enhancement_Kit_-_AMD_6900_Series.html

for $13.47 after using a discount code....

If it comes in next week, will be going on during Spring Break!
So very excited..!

Does it work for a 6970?
the base idea works but there may be some changes youll need to apply for your particular card. The zipstrap method works on all cards, its why its so successful.
What changes? I dont fancy being the first to try it.

I hear a really good 6970 can do 1ghz on the core. Would the antec 620 push it much further than that?

It works on any card that has enough area around the die so it can make contact with it.
The only thing that is different on each card is that you need to make sure that you still have head sinks on the bits that the stock heat sink would normally cover.
EG Mosfets, Ram.

Each card is different to how much it overclocks. Just with the antec 620 you dont have to worry about temps so much so you can use more voltage.

You can just get ram heatsinks or put a fan blowing air over them right?

this is where i got mine from and this one is the exact one you need,
i was looking at them heatsinks but i cant get them from anywhere round here and also its hard to work out if it will fit on our cards.

Did it cover every part of the things that we need to cover?
Are there instructions for applying this stuff?

Don't want to do anything that would be disastrous.
Anything I should look for?

Looks like they're mounted via screws, or it straight adhesive?
