Yeah, My 6850 has stock VRM cooling you can see it in the pictures.
Iv also recently added ram heat sinks by they only let me overclock the ram another 8mhz so wasnt really worth the price of them.

Yeah the RAM on the Sapphire 6850/6870 is poor

You know that the H series are NOT supposed to break and that Corsair will replace it for free if it does break?

Its not so much the ram, Mine does 1148mhz on new card and 1160 on the old one. Its more the memory controller which isnt the best on the Barts core cards and tops out between 1150-1200mhz most the time. But its not like the memory speed makes much difference on these cards.

Hi guys, just received my antec 620 today to try on my 6950.
My 6950 is a reference card and I'm just wondering if it has a heat spreader for the ram n vrm chips as I can't get the shroud off.
If someone knows a guide take shroud off would be great.
I clipped the clips and took out screws at end n won't budge
