Thanks, the VRM temps seem pretty warm under heavy load in Furmark so I'll throw some small heat sinks on there ASAP to remedy this. I'll be careful with the tension on the bracket as the PCB flexes rather easily without the support provided by the overweight stock cooler. I might whip out the Dremel and make some adjustments to the stock cooler so that parts of it can be retained to add support to the board, as it most definitely won't be going back on and it's not covered by warranty anyhow.

Next project is the Windforce R9 280X, mostly so it doesn't throttle itself under load. I wonder how close to reference the design is though >.>

The stock heatsink works pretty well for cooling the VRM/Memory, and will definitely help to keep the PCB from flexing.

With the correct fan curve I am able to keep the VRM at or below 70°C without ever going over 50% on the blower fan.  After removing the vapor chamber and clearancing the stock heatsink for the Seidon pump/block, I was able to retain the shroud, fan, and heatsink on my reference 7970

Cheers @tictoc I might give that a shot and try to use the G10 on my 280x instead. Until the heat sinks arrive I've improvised by zip-tying an old, quiet low profile HDD bay fan to the underside of the card and that's dropped the VRM1 temps down from 100c to 80c in Furmark and I slightly adjusted the pump positioning and dropped the GPU temp down to 55 deg under load. Score.

Has anybody heard anything from the guy that sells Sigma_Cool brackets? I ordered one 19 days ago and still nothing.

There is a thread "Sigma_Cool AIO GPU mounts" in overclock.net which I can find on google, but I cannot access at all...says thread does not exist.

I've ordered from the guy that makes the sigma coolers and he took forever to ship. Took about 2 and a half weeks to receive mine. I also emailed him at his Gmail and through Facebook numerous times till he responded. Didn't receive a gpu shim with the kit either. I was happy with the product but NOT the service.

Im sure he has shipped it.
The only thing I can think of is postal delays or misplaced order
