I don't believe it's a antec only mod, good to see other closed loops work with the amd cards.

I'm going to try a reseat using the ziptie method, and see if there are better temps.
If there are, I will try and make use of the bracket, I think there are a ton of bubbles between the GPU and Pump, considering I was scratching my head wondering how to mount it.

If the temps improve, I may move the radiator up to the front and use it as an intake as opposed to an exhaust.

However, I am contemplating between selling the 620 and switching to an AXP-II mainly because it is much more self-contained, where I don't need to remove the radiator in order to remove the GPU, etc etc.

I think I'm going to have much higher temps regardless, since my case isn't exactly airflow-friendly... rolleyes.gif

[EDIT]:
Now I'm a little confused.
Just went into BF3 to check my load temps, and I never reached over 50C.
Given, this was gaming for about 10 minutes (all I've got time for as of now), but still.
What?
So, very, very, confused.
I was idling 60C last night, or so Afterburner told me.
Now I'm wondering if I damaged a sensor of some sort, during installation...
Still, going to do a reseat.
What is the usual idle/load tmeps?

i get odd readings now and then, spikes i would think in my instance. Give a little bit and go by average temps...... dont write off that high temp though, could show that the pump is not functioning at full 100% of the time

What fan header is the pump plugged into. I found all my ones on the mother board start dropping voltage down at 25C which my PC has no problem getting to during idle. So I had to get molex adapters to keep the full power to the pumps since around 8V they dont spin fast enough to move the water though the radiator.

I picked up an H70 and tried it again. This time, i used one of DWOOD's brackets. Installation wasn't too difficult, just used the carpet to hold everything in place, and a screwdriver to tighten the screws.

Just had an issue of where to place it. There's not many places to mount in a 400R with a H100. I ended up placing it on the bottom, next to the CPU with a piece of cardboard acting as a shim. I think if I can mount it where the H70 is venting somewhere with less resistance I could get better temperatures.

It seems to run games OK, idling at around 39C with dual mon, 36C with just a single mon. However, it crashes and locks up in Furmark. I've yet to see if it's an issue or not yet. At first, it did BSOD on a Furmark test at full 1080P resolution. Is this maybe an issue with hot VRMs?

Playing for a couple hours results in max of 50C or so.

When I was attempting to use the H100, it would BSOD the same way.

Is the pump running 100% at all times?

Sure is, with a molex adapter as well.
Haven't had time to reseat it, but temps aren't too bad now, but not what I hoped for.

Anyone here ask to get the "official" status yet, been awhile and me thinks you all deserve it. Great club here thumb.gif
