Hmm. Thank you for the review. Watching it made me realize that the removal of the compression ring could be problematic. With typical compression fittings, there is a small bit that you can hold while you loosen the ring. On these, you don't have that piece and it will likely cause the fitting to unscrew rather than removing just the ring. I notice the video cut out at that part as well. I wonder how difficult it was to remove the ring from the loose fitting?

Actually it's not problematic, just need to hold the hose and twist smile.gif

Nice and innovative, I can remember when I first installed my water cooling system a year and a half ago, my fingers were shredded on the tips! Nothing a bicycle inner tube or rubber gloves couldn't fix, its nice to see many available different colors! thumb.gif

Ha, I personaly totally dislike the look of them, but won't complain that more companies are putting some different stuff on the market

I think they look great with colored tubing. Also, the pack of 6 at $36 is a lot easier to swallow than $60 for Bitspower.

Same. You can see at the end of the vid, you have to grab the tubing just like all other fittings. I don't need no tool, finger tight and a 1/4 turn is good enough for me. I can see how this will lead to problems for beginners going crazy with that wrench though.

I sort of agree with other people.

I think its actually look is questionable.

Though FrozenCPU puts a gorgeous picture for advertisement,

that does not give any impression,

because nice DSLR with nice set up for emphasizing fitting + photoshoping can make any fitting looks gorgeous.

So I just want to wait till many system picture using this fitting.

BUT, I also agree that more company is putting more stuff on the market is good thing, and

it is super nice to have that kind of tool for compression fitttings, extra O-ring, and various color fitting.

Price is also right. Also, for many colored tubing user will welcome about this change.

Glad to see those stuff on the market.

Since I am planning to do hose sleeving, and plan to cover sleeving it with compression fitting, I NEED a tool for sure.

Well, but then the design of having holes on the compression ring will show ugly end of sleeve,
it is super problematic as well for me, so I can't go with that fitting, but still nice to see the change.

And, some tygon fitting is little to bold that tighting ends up bit ugly.
If you tighten bitspower fitting + tygon hose with your finger, it works but there is still extra room for tightening OR, finger skin hurts as hell.
Well, it still functions without any leaks, but it is nice to tight them more.
