[wccftech] HD 7950 3dMark 11 Benchmark - Page 5

There was alot of huge posts in here so I don't know if this was addressed but I call fake on the screenshots. It doesnt even recognize any of the GPUs. Don't flame me cause I am not trying to start a war.

I wonder how it will perform against the 680/780???

Actually, the 7950 is AMD's new generation third position card. THe 7970 is the second position card. And the 7970 fights with the 590, and beats the 580. The 7990 is AMD's first position card. Which will kill the last generation 590 and 6990 based on what we've seen.

I would question whether that really is a reference design card. According to VR-Zone there is no reference design. I've not seen any news that indicates that to be wrong (although if there is news to the contrary I would be interested to read it).

I noticed some people are requesting Heaven benchmark on 7950. I found this link on 7970 reviews thread.

Well if you want the best then get the 7970, the 7950 is for people who don't want to spend the extra money on the 7970.

Not necessarily. 6950s couldnt overclock as well as 6970s because 6970s were better chips. 7950s wont hit the same clocks as 7970s for similar reasons probably.

It also looks like 7950s wont be unlockable so if you want 7970 performance get a 7970. If you dont then get a 7950.
