Not to be a buzz kill or anything but what is the difference between these and the G.Skill ECO series RAM that have the same rated speeds and voltage?

No doubt man, I still debate whether I should use them for a 24/7 rig. Seems interest in them is high but most people probably think the same way I do. I've almost got enough stuff to put a rig back together, may go ahead and clock them to see what I can get.

Truth is, I don't know if there is a difference at all. I'd like to believe that Mushkin had a special binning process if they bothered to put them in a special case an slap "#1/1" on there. The G.Skill ECO line certainly has a good reputation for overclocking and I imagine this set would do similarly. I'm about a week away from having a computer up and running so I may spend an hour or two seeing how far I can get. I will, of course, post the results for those interested.

I imagine there are only two groups of people who would be interested in such sticks:

1. Those who are 'wooed' by the novelty and (possible) rarity of the kit
2. Those who are truly enthusiasts in the overclocking realm and hope (as I do) that these are something special

Hard to say either way, I suppose.

Sorry, right now anything I'm looking for is in regards to building speakers and furniture...so unless you have some nice aluminum forms for clamping corner joints while glue dries I can't really think of anything. smile.gif
