Sig rig runs like crap in BF3 - Page 5

It's probably hyper-threading that's causing you issues, I know there were a lot of i7-2600 users complaining about the game running horribly a while ago.

I can try disabling hyper threading and giving that a shot. I also found some threads on here of users stating that Hyper threading caused some stuttering issues in BF3. I will try it and see. Tho switching HDMI ports on my TV and going to 11.12 has improved game play dramatically

Are you limited to 1360X768 or are you just trying to increase your fps? If you can, turn it up to 1080p to increase the demand on your card and see if there is any difference.

Honestly your hardware is perfectly fine, but the game is a buggy mess. I'm guessing that you don't have any problems with any other games?

No idea why your having poor performance on BF3, im running Medium Settings on an i3-2100 with a 5750 Radeon Card. No issues at all. good average high 30s low 40s on 1920x1080 via DVI on a 23" Acer S232hl Display.

I would venture to say its a driver issue. Since you have a Z68 board, try removing your video card, deleting all the drivers/software for the card, re-install the card and start over. May help solve the problem.

Ok guys I have gotten this figured out. It IS my LCD TV I played a game using my wifes 1600/900 Monitor and what a HUGE difference. Played smooth as butter Results. I could really feel and see the difference between the monitors. I am going to sell my 32 inch and snag up a 1920x1080 23 inch

You've still got a bit of a CPU bottleneck, your GPU usage should be pretty much pegged at 16/900. Then again, at 1080p, I'd say it will be pegged.

On the bright side, next time someone posts asking why shouldn't they "just buy a xxinch TV" for their PC gaming needs, you can remind them of why that's such a bad idea.

Yeah Im going to see what happens when I grab a 1920x1080 Monitor maybe tomorrow. Like I said just going from 1360x768 to 1600x900 while gaming it was smooth it really did make a huge difference. For the first time I played with no lag or stuttering at all

Yep, your GPU should be constant 99% in BF3 if you don't have a CPU bottleneck.
