Well, same sensor I believe. Maybe the firmware changes something, but I think there is a good chance you'll see the same problems.

We'll see. If it has issues I'll just go ahead and get that puretrak pad. Spawn didn't have issues with it.

The fact you think you are being attacked is pathetic.

The statement was in relation to the whole "laser = accel" factor that is constantly brought up. Quoted text that resis made obviously coincides with that.

I'm simply stating that it happens on both ends and what truly matters is limited to single architectural limitations.

I don't think its pointless. Decent marketing if any company wanted to expand this idea. Just saying.

Same sensor does not mean the same issues. Everything from SROM/FW code, LED type, to even USB data path on lower bit controller contributes.. (etc).

There's a good chance, corrupt won't see the same performance, good or bad.

It's liking the Allsop alright, 4.25 m/s on average in enotus on 800 dpi biggrin.gif

Could it be due to the Savu using infrared? Dunno that's the biggest difference between the 2 mice.

EDIT: Aaaarrrgghhh... it has some prediction... enough to annoy me mad.gif (downloading older firmwares from a random Asian website as I type this...)

Sorry if this has already been covered, but would people consider this mouse too small for someone with larger hands? I use a 3 finger palm grip and was looking at this primarily as an alternative to the Steelseries Xai / Sensei. My ideal shape is similar to the IMO 1.1. This mouse looks like it could either be comfortable, or simply too small (The Kana is little too small for me).

Any additional feedback on the ergonomics of this mouse would be appreciated.

Just got this mouse at fry's on sale and oh ... my ... god. It is amazing. They did absolutely everything right.

Ergonomically it tends to be more of a fingertouch mouse but you can definitely claw it. While the height of the mouse is above that of the Zowie FK, G100, or Razer Abyssus; the mouse is very short as well which is a plus for claw gamers. I can see palm and fingertouch being very comfortable with it too.

The tracking is great, the ergonomics are great, the mouse wheel is divine and most importantly to me it literally feels that every key is Japanese Omron D2F-01F. This is literally the perfect starcraft mouse.

wonder if they can ever fix the fluctuating polling rate with the lights on via firmware/driver update
post #368 of 370
Got a recon recently, driver seems to work fine (1000Hz):

Drv Np+ Icemat (black) func 10(30)

lod 5 4cd 4m/s 4cd 3.6m/s 3cd 4m/s
lod 1 2cd 4m/s 1cd 0.9m/s 2cd 4m/s

The usb rate checker reports 492/969hz when set at 500/1000hz with all led disabled - and 439/879hz with all led enabled.

Though my weigh scale says 108 grams, the weight is good balanced. At least it fits my grip (thumb is at sensor height). No aches so far, as the shape is slightly forcible.

Got this mouse recently.

Without testing it in deep I am very disappointed:

- look and feel is very flimsy
- the upper and the lower side feels very slippery
- side buttons are to far to the front
- side buttons are very easy to activate
- the shape and that slippery cover didn't allow me to lift the mouse fast and save
- scrollwheel very load if I scroll up (normal noise if I scroll down)

+ sensor seems fine to me
+ LED could be turn off via software
+ Mousebutton 1-3 are fine

Have to do a few (little) mods to make it usable.

The Spawn has much better build quality.
