Do I need a 600W P.S.? - Page 2

OK thanks guys. Mine is at the moment (running Prime95 for load):

+3.3V: 3.264 (1.1%)
+5V: 4.919 (1.6%)
+12V: 12.16 (1.3%)

For me its good then, I used ASUS Probe 2 to check volts

Asus Probe (as with any software) is known to be inaccurate. That's why I suggested you use a multimeter. However, you're probably alright if Asus Probe is showing your rails as stable.

How man amps on the 12v rail does that psu have?

It has 15A on 12V(1) and 17A on 12V(2). 32A total, I was thinking about getting a X2 cpu?

that is an odd combination.... Not all PSUs can supply the full rated amps on both 12v rails at the same time... so you're probably more realistically looking at about 25a.

It should be enough. A new PSU wouldn't hurt you though... it would only make things better

My PSU can def. do 32A total (17A, 15A rails) it says so on side of it.
