Yes, there are deadlines on them and some are shorter than others......I've never missed a deadline though so not sure what happens then.


I know my old 1.7 P4 did a few 1862 WUs and never had trouble with them......wierd...I would have thought system instabability as well......

If you miss a deadline, it tell you just that and deletes the WU. I have a couple of systems that lose the BIOS settings whenever they lose power, and occasionally I'll misset the clock, leading to WUs appearing to have missed their deadlines.
