Hey eAgleyes, I noticed that you have the Mo Ra 3 Rad and I was wondering where'd you get it. I've been looking on Google and I cannot find it anywhere.

frozen cpu and performance pc's both stock it. FCPU is cheaper if you use the discount code I believe.

Just got the TX10-D and been busy with it. I got it from AquaTuning.de with 19% off (at 155,45 €).

Guys, I remove the stock heat sink from the RE4. However I notice that there is a kind of foil at the Intel X79 PCH (SB) chipset.
368

The heat sink contact to the chipset.
397

Looks to me that Asus is trying to bridge a large gap between the chipset and the heat sink. Should I remove the foil before installing the Koolance MB-ASR4E block? Any advice anyone?

I did this with a RIVE and Koolance block on a friends build recently and noticed the same thing, there was no thermal goop or pad as far as I have seen, also that foil is very thin, which is more for heat transfer then to bridge a gap I think.. I removed the thin sheet and put on some Arctic Silver Ceramic...

You should be OK as my results were good with the MB temperatures, around 32c with a ambient of around 26-28c, I say go ahead and mount it, but as always with any newly installed waterblocks, monitor the temps for the first couple runs in the following days just to be safe..
