umm..nm..:lachen.gif:
for $74 i'd go with higher bandwidth..latency is kind of a non-issue with sandy bridge..but..to each their own..dooo eeeet! thumb.gif

Yeah I originally had an OCZ 650W but it died on me and a friend of mine ordered the Nspire 650W for me through his company. I was skeptical at first, but I've been using it for years and it works fine. It does get loud sometimes though >.> I looked into replacing it when I was planning this build, but I figure it's just a power supply. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

YES!

Really? Cause from what I've read the performance boost between 1600/1866/2133 is only noticeable in benchmarks. Sure I could get the 1866/2133 so that I could hold on to it for newer builds, but RAM is so cheap these days what's the point? I think I'll just stick with 1600 with low timings and cross that bridge when I come to it.

^this x5. Once you have a cheapo PSU blow up in spectacular fashion, you think differently about this stuff. Get one from a brand who'll help you out if it goes south. I know people on these forums don't like endless Corsair plugging but their customer support really is awesome. thumb.gif

Otherwise, you're good to go with that build.

You've probably already 'added to cart' but just because a PSU powers all your components doesn't mean it's fine. The efficiency of that psu could be very questionable, the actual ouput might not be at all what you were expecting, and if you added another gpu, that PSU might not be capable and could ruin your system. Just a warning .

Lol you guys are scaring me now. Like I'm gonna get the build all put together and then my power supply is going to go nuclear. It's been really solid with stable voltage and no peculiar behavior, but it is getting old. I think I installed it in 2007/2008. So I suppose I should cave and buy a new one, better safe than sorry. How's this look?

Corsair TX650 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139020

650W should be all I need I'm a single GPU kinda guy. It's $90 but it comes with a $20 mail-in rebate and a 5 year warranty. Not too shabby.
