Is Call of Duty 4 Worth It?

Thread Starter
I recently bought Modern Warfare 2 & 3 for no reason. Let's just say I HATE the lack of decent dedicated servers. Should I buy Call of Duty 4 to make up for this?

IMO yes, since Call of Duty 4 basically has the same graphics and gameplay as the newer versions. Unless you're interested in different campaigns, I'd just go with COD4

Yes, it's an amazing game and there is still a ton of populated servers. The graphics aren't quite as good, but the great mechcanics of the game make up for it.

COD4 is superior to the new games in every way. Look around for noob servers though, it can be hard to join a game so late in it's life.

cod4 is amazing, i loove it.
imo cod4 is my favourite, go join a promod server, find one on gametracker, some servers i join have insane people on it, people on normal servers come nowhere near the skill on promod which keeps me entertained for hours biggrin.gif

It's alright, it's not that great of a game. Lots of cheap kills and weapons, camping tactics, kill streaks etc. It does have dedicated servers, but I think it's one of the most over-rated games of all time. Just my 2 cents.
