I'm confused. It has been determined that Sandforce controllers are junk but yet the OCZ Vetex 3 uses a Sandforce controller and is blazing fast. Why are MY Corsair's with Sandforce controllers slower than molasses in winter?

i dont think they are junk.. i use my force gt over my M4 because it loads windows and other programs faster for me. Ive not had a single issue with the drive and would have no problem recommending it to anyone.

Random read speeds are what matters most with an SSD, not the high sequential speeds. The random read speeds are what determines like how fast windows opens a programme. Unless your constantly moving large files around, go for whatever offers the fastest random read speeds.

Your Corsair Force 3 are asynchronous 2xnm nand and comparable to OCZ's Agility They're not as fast as the Vertex sync nand or vertex 3 max IO toggle nand..

Good review, but considering mine were cheaper than the M4 (Amazon for $155/ea), and apparently just as fast.... I dont think we need bashing of brands. It would seem they get their job done well in either case.

And as the OP requested, they just wanted to know the fastest.
