Their minimum for custom-sized rolls is about a mile long, so it's really just not an option. We also do have some thermal pads, although they aren't 3M's. They still get the job done, though!
Everyone else, thanks again for the warm welcome, and just let me know if you have any questions, need help putting an order together, or whatever else!

Dope! I will be picking some up as soon as they come in. Oh I never saw those thermal pads before..How sticky are they though, as it says slightly sticky and I wouldn't want any heatsinks falling off, when I flip the card back over stun.gif. The glue/tape that came on the heatsinks I'm using now (Zalman VF900) from the factory was terrible and didn't stick well they would fall off not to long after I stuck them on. And the stuff I'm using right now from star tech is really sticky if it touches anything the pad is pretty much ruined (its more like a gum then a solid pad), but I just trust 3M more to do it right.

The problem with the star tech stuff is it literally melted like cheese after some gaming, leaving a string like when you pull apart gum or melted cheese (if that makes sense?) hanging from the VRM to the heatsink sitting on top of my PSU (it was just the front one though, but it does make me question the quality of the stuff). I think its just that one VRM that gets really hot, but I wouldn't want that happening again though doh.gif. I ended up having to use the thermal stuff that came with the card to stick it on there seems to be ok for now, but I'm still worried about proper cooling because of how hot that thing gets and would rather have thermal tape on it instead.

The 3M stuff is a thermal tape not a thermal pad. I worded it wrong up there, not sure if we were thinking about the same thing just wanted to clarify. There's 2 kinds 1 is 3M 8810 and Idr the other ones number. But it would be nice to buy this stuff from a legit place as I just don't trust the quality of the stuff on Ebay. Sorry its so long lol tongue.gif

The thermal pads I linked to come from Phobya, if that tells you anything about their quality. They should definitely be sticky enough to keep your heatsinks seated, unless you're using solid lead sinks or something ridiculous like that tongue.gif

Hi Cory, and welcome to OCN!

Well, I'm not sure where to start other than I thought Xoxide went out of business last year.... Is there a new owner? As well, will you guys be carrying more high-end watercooling products from Bitspower, MIPS/HeatKiller, and Aquacomputer?

Thanks!
Thanks, XNine! The "going out of business" sale was over three years ago, and yes, we do have a new owner who took over operations immediately after that. Definitely not last year! wink.gif We're constantly getting all sorts of new products in, but unfortunately we've had no luck in securing an agreement with Bitspower. If you've got some specific things you'd like to see us stock, send me some links and I'll see what I can do!

I've only ordered from Xoxide a couple times that I can remember but everything went smoothly. I'll be sure to check your site when I'm in the market for new stuff. biggrin.gif
