Sad SLI Setup, ASUS GTX570 3 slot wide x2 - Page 3

has anybody else gone triple slot SLI and had problems with huge temp differences?

i've always been interested in the Asus triple slot coolers...but I'm thinking its pretty meh, unless you have massive spacing between cards...and i know most people don't, since standard ATX boards usually only come with 7 expansion slots

In an SLi situation like that one card will always run hotter than the other because of fan limitation. The only way to minimize the heat difference is make sure you have proper airflow and a large enough case. Although a larger case could allow you to buy a bigger mobo and not worry about it. biggrin.gif
