Update 8

HEY GUYS!

I'm sorry for not updating for sometime, had other things to do thumb.gif
During the time I've been working out what I will be doing for the motherboard panel.

Rummaged through my garage for some dismantled computer-case parts, and I came across this motherboard back-panel. Beautiful! (not referring to the colour, going to get the grey sanded off and coloured ASAP)

Working with the panels:

Pressing it down with clamps certainly pays off, atleast the plywood doesn't bend anymore whilst in storage biggrin.gif

How the 'support blocks' will be used to support the motherboard panel:

img1676x.jpg

Here it is!

Fitted on:

img1678q.jpg

As you can see, the thickness of the motherboard panel will not suit the motherboard panel, something I regret for not forseeing.

Hmmm looking for thumbscrews:

These sexy things! Will be using these good looking thumbscrews for ANNEXED.

Motherboard panel installed:

The connectors stick out like so:

Test fitted:

Digging it!

img1701k.jpg

As you see, the motherboard panel will be sticking out redface.gif

img1702nc.jpg

Time to mark out the backplate:

img1704g.jpg

I'm planning to make a 'tight fit' attachment, where the backplate will be pushed into a cut-out hole as the edges of the motherboard panel bend out slightly, applying pressure onto the sides of the hole I will make.

Money is definitely an issue at the moment, and I am desperately finding a job so bear with me mad.gif

Stay tuned for more!
