Update 16

Hey guys!
So a late night update.

So I tested out the power-switch on my other desktop.

Da switch

img1999x.jpg

Most of my signature build: (excluding the GPU, 5770 was extracted for waterblock installation for the 15th update)

img1985n.jpg

Although it's crappy I still care about it (:

img1986j.jpg

Pulling out the old power-switch and power LEDs.

img1991tr.jpg

So here we go!

img1995o.jpg

Sorry about the bluriness of the picture, as I said before it was late so the light wasn't on my side.

I will try to get some better quality images ASAP, I was a little scared using this switch at first because my computer would start up but close quickly after I pressed the switch, so that means I got the combination wrong for the back of the switch

Well CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME WITH THE COMBINATION?
Thanks!
And also, will be purchasing plywood tommorow, couldn't this week because of family commitments.

Well that's it for now!
Stay tuned for more!!

Hey Lok, i think i might be able to help with your switch problem.
Grab a multimeter and measure each end of the cables.
Don't know how to put this properly in words, but grab 1 wire with the motherboard header, then any of the other ends that attach to the switch.
If you get a resistance reading, you know where each wire ends up.
This picture from frozen should explain where the wires connect up to.

Hope this helped

Oooo thankyou very much!
I guess I could use that multimeter at school for something biggrin.gif

But it's okay, because I have already figure out the combination, it was just trial and error really, there are only a total of 3 combinations you need to try anyways \

REP + for you anyways for the help!
Great reference for other people, the switch doesn't come with any instructions whatsoever rolleyes.gif
