ok ill look into some other coolers, but how much of a difference does the case make? i mean everything fits and i personally like the look of the thermaltake v9

The NZXT Phantom case are about $130.The case i put on your list is about $50 after MIR.The Corsair 650D is about $200 including shipping.Like i said it was just my personal opinion, and i'm really no expert on cases but for $50 for the V9,i say go for it.It actually looks a lot like the Antec 900 which i personally own.

ok so im downgrading to an 2500k cpu and ill probably just stick with my case, standard 3fans is fine for me.
but im looking at different mobo's, somewhere where i can save some money for a ssd for the system for faster start up and loading that thanos mentioned earlier, whilst sticking to my wd black for saves and whatnot.
just wondering, whats the difference between motherboards?

like i know its crucial but just say you have a $100 & $200 mobo that both support all your hardware, whats the difference?
just price? speed? etc.

also how big would the os ssd have to be?
ive been looking on msy parts list and they have an intel ssd 40gb for about $99 ?
would this be efficient/good for a greatly increased system start up & game loading speed?
heres the msy price pdf list if your interested:

Windows needs about 10GB. If you are using the SSD solely for your OS, 30GB would be fine. Personally I wouldn't like using anything under 64GB.

hm so the 40gb i mentioned, would this be good? like increase all system start ups and game loading and such or should i look for something around your personal choice of 64?

**Edit
Just found a ' Kingston SV200S37A 64G ' for $97 -- Something like this would be your personal choice?

also are the other parts of my system good?
so i know what to start researching and reviewing - hoping to get my system fairly soon
thanks

your motherboard is already a z68 motherboard

Get an Ivy compatible mobo and an i5. Should set you up for the next 4 years for gaming.
