If you live in sydney check out:
http://ijk.com.au/branch/ijk/
Pcdiy
and the online store http://pccasegear.com/

what do you mean dodgy? my close mate build a $2500 computer using most of his parts from msy and he said they were great & hes reall good with computers and yeah ive check out pccasegear website alright, but their were afew things that they didnt sell on my build.
ill see the other two and get back to you

** Edit
pcdiy has like nothing, they sold about 3/10 of the parts i need.
ijk is really expensive.

& my friend said MSY is fine, just really ****ty service, so i would have to know exacly what i need before going there

They have raised about 3-4x their price from a few months ago. I'm not buying any until they drop. I got lucky and picked up a 3TB external for $99 on Cyber Monday.

the gskill ripjaw ramm you could save yourself some money or double the amout off ramm if you went for a lower fsb ie change from 2133 to 1600
and get 16 gb or just save some money i dont think faster ramm is worth the extra expens i prefer to go for more ramm

CPU: i5 2500k - $229
HDD: 3.5" WD Black 1TB - $149 If possible wait a few months before investing in a storage HD. Prices are inflated.
OS SSD: 2.5" Kingston SV200S37A 64G - $97 Crucial M4
Motherboard: G-B Z68XP-UD3R - $175
Graphics Card: 1280M GTX570 Asus - $385
RAM: 8G Kit 2133 G.Skill Ripjaws-X - $92 1600MHz is good enough.
Power Supply: Antec TruePowerTP-750 - $137
DvD Drive: SATA LG - $20
Case: Thermaltake V9 (5 Fans) - $103
Operator: Windows 7 Home Premium 64b - $94
CPU Cooler: NZXT Havik 140 - $60
Total - $1540

These are only suggestions. I personally own a 128GB Crucial M4, and it's R/W speeds are phenomenal.
