Is that worth it? For benchmarking and light gaming? It's only 4GB, but I have 8GB right now and I don't do anything to use it yet, so is it worth it?

Nice those timings look pretty baller. I'd do it, I got the 1600mhz 9-9-9-24 ripjaws for $29.99 and I can't OC the freq, or lower timings without BSODS.

I'd get this memory and work on the clocks and timings.

Or this one for instant better timings.

Mushkin memory is fantastic, overclocks well, and you can squeeze some nice timings out of them.
Support is top notch on their forums as well. They actively give you BIOS settings to try.

No, it would not be worth a $50 price tag. I personally wouldn't want anything less than a 4GB module anyways. I would say if anything get a 1866 8gb set and tighten the timings once you down clock them to 1600. But once again you will not notice a difference. If you're looking to blow $50 save up and upgrade your GPU, or buy a sound card like the ASUS Xonar DX and you will have a much more noticeable upgrade.

Unless you're just looking at benches

Being honest, i've never considered Mushkin before. I'll look into it.
