How SLOW is your internet? - Page 5

My modest connection. I'm happy with it for what I pay. Although Comcast does have a 250GB cap which is silly, I've only hit like 40GB of that

Edit: I pay for 15 down 3 up.

Dude that's like 400 times faster than mine, really.

Over the summer, when the students go home (I'm a student who takes summer classes), this can go up to 1gbps and 300 - 500mbps upload. Though, I don't have proof at this time. =\

The speed increase over the summer happens because it's not being saturated by the 25 thousand studends PC's. lol

Like I said, I was worried when I first heard about it but after months of Netflix, Hulu, Gaming, Web/FTP Hosting, and other crap, I was surprised to only see 40GB used on my bills. People who need more than a 250GB cap need to get out of the house a bit more. Unless its for Business use in that case you should have a "business" account which typically don't have data caps.
