That h100 is pretty fantastic imo, one of the best before you get to "real" water cooling, so I'd say to be safe: 1.4V MAX. Let someone else chime in to confirm though, as it's late and I've been hitting the sauce so maybe I'm wrong.

lol Thanks, I think I'll hop on some BF3 and tear it up for a bit and worry about this tomorrow. 2:15 am already. Hard to concentrate on this stuff.

1.4V is the MAX, but of course, lower the better lol

btw, i run IBT/OCCT/Prime, for 20 passes/2+ Hrs/25+ Hrs, so i know i'm stable thumb.gif Just my advice

As it was said earlier see if you can drop the VLL a bit.

Right now I'm testing the prime 95 going to leave it for 12 hours. So far its looking good.Been running it for 1 hour 15 mins. I changed the CPU to 4.4 Ghz with a multiplier of 33. The Voltage fluctuates changing with 1.349 then to 1.356. I have the LLC on Full. All the PowerSaving Features off. Changed the RAM freq to 1866 but left the multi for it and volt on auto. From what I saw after reboot the RAM volt was set auto to 1.655. My temps are in the 50s 60's and 1 got to 71 I guess it depends on the test the program is running. I was a little worried about doing it at 4.5 or higher as this is my first 12 hour test so after this I can start fine tuning and definately try your recommendations with regards to adjusting the other settings. Better to do all that after a nights sleep. 3:39 am now lol. If I had some beers Id kick back a few and try to pass out.

Going to have to research about the RAM though have no clue about timing settings , voltage or frequency. I have 2000mhz but the options in there were 1866 then jumps to 2166 or soemthing in the 2100s.

Ran Prime 95 for 12 hours, Blend Mix / Round off.

Temps varied depending on parts of the test they were in the 50's , 60's and the max temp displayed was 73.

There were 0 Warnings , 0 Errors.

I'm going to add the pics of Bios settings used for this test. You'll notice the core Temp was 1.356 it actually changed to 1.349 as well it went back and forth through the test.

So if I understand correctly the next step would be to lower my PLL to 1.6 and lower my Vcore temperature?

Should I leave the LLC at 100% calibration?

Should I do anything with the RAM? The RAM setting used was 1866 then auto for multi and auto for volt (1.655 was auto volt)

Does lowering the BLCK to 100 then going with a higher multiplier like 46 for example help in any way VS 133 x 35 my max multiplier is 63 I believe.

Anything else I should do?

So if I understand correctly the next step would be to lower my PLL to 1.6 and lower my Vcore temperature? Yes you can try that and see if you can keep it stable

Should I leave the LLC at 100% calibration? Yes smile.gif

Should I do anything with the RAM? The RAM setting used was 1866 then auto for multi and auto for volt (1.655 was auto volt) you could always OC and Overvolt the RAM some if you wish, but i would wait till you got you CPU where you want it first smile.gif

I would set the ram voltage at 1.65 manually. Lowering your fsb will lower your ram, which you can always just up your ram more manually. For example I run my 980x at 197x23 making my ram 1954mhz or something like that. The next step for the ram would be in the 2100 range. If you were to run a fsb of 200 you would get a ram frequency of 2000. I say for now lower the vcore and pll until it becomes unstable so you know your Max low voltages. Then you can adjust your ram.

Ok so about to run the test again, keeping the same settings 133.5 x 33

I set the PLL to 1.6 v

I lowered V-core by 1 increment which made it 1.336

Tried to set RAM volt to 1.65 but it will either let me do 1.656 or 1.530 should I even worry about small differences like instead of 1.65 its 1.656 shoud i Just set it is it something very minimal? Or should I go the lower one at 1.530?

Hey do I have to keep doing it for 12 hours? Or can I do it for 2 hours to try and make more changes then when I get to where I want run a 12 hour or is that not a good idea and better to do it with the 12 hour tests.

Well lower the DRAM if it is under the stock Mhz, so if your RAM is 2000 and running at 1866, you should be able to drop it to1.530V smile.gif But 1.656V isn't a big diff, but ONLY Overvolt if you OC the RAM smile.gif

You can run IBT for 10 Runs OR OCCT for 2 hours if you want, Prime is made more for 12+ Hours, but i'm not sure if only 2Hrs of Prime will tell you much lol You can try though, but it might only give you errors if something is way off. smile.gif
