I assume you're referring to the response time. In which case, "delay" is not accurate. "Delay" would be input lag, which a bit more than a frame(one frame= 16.7ms) on the u3011, half of a frame on the ZR30W. The vast majority of people are fine with either choice, but some people like me dislike the higher input lag on the former and its kind. The latter is something you won't notice, period.
The S27a950d is a good choice of a monitor as well, what it offers being mainly 120hz and a glossy screen. (Since some view the AG on IPS panels as a downside due to being so aggressive). You'll be stuck with 16:9 27" at 1920x1080, but it's not bad. It's a decent screen, it being TN will not be an issue for the gamer, since it's a good one. I think it's rather clear what the differences are though. It's your decision. I wouldn't say you'd be disappointed with either choice.

IMHO save some money and get the new HP 27" (ZR2740w). You're only giving up a small amount of resolution and you'll love the much tighter pixel pitch for gaming. It has very low input lag for an IPS display and good pixel responsiveness as well.
