6gb of RAM?

You need 2 or 4 pairs of ram sticks to run them as dual channel. If you have 3 it may be best (faster) to run 4gb until you get another 2gb stick.

PSU also seems a bit too low but I think you should be fine (PSUs not my strong point)

Apart from that it all looks good, nice rig.

that's a powerful cpu you got there. cooler is sufficient to cool it.

mobo could be better. maybe add some vrm cooling over them if they don't have any.

i have that psu. it is solid, quiet, and steady like an 80 plus. powered my i7 950 for six months without issue and still in use with another rig.

and like super mentioned, add or subtract a stick to take advantage of dual channel.

I won't over-clock on that board, because it lacks proper cooling on the MOSFETs (the area to the left of cpu). When you over-clock you increase voltage, which increases heat. With no heatsink on MOSFETs they can't cool quickly. Also like superste2201 said if you are running 2 x 2GB sticks and 2 x 1GB sticks it will make your board run in single channel mode. You want dual channel mode for the fastest memory results. Other than that looks like a nice and cheap little build.

The MOSFETs on the board need to be cooled before any overclocking is to take place safely.

just a little help i ran the calculations on you stuff and that is agood power supply but a quick run down with those components you need about 480 watts.

and since i have no clue if you have a cd burner or not i left it out if you do you need to look at about a 550 or better problem 600watt to be covered.
