Color/Gamma Issue when using Mini-DP -> DVI Adapters.

Ok so i recently got a Sapphire Radeon 7970, Which comes with and active miniDP to DVI Adapter. I also bought a separate mac-styled miniDP to DVI adapter on Ebay for use if i should go tri-monitor.
I was testing out the mac styled adapter on my primary monitor (which i usually have connected straight to the DVI port) and i noticed a weird Color/Gamma issue that became apparent only in dark scenes (such as night in Unigine Heaven and Minecraft)
I found that these areas look perfectly fine on my primary monitor when it is connected only to the dvi port, but that if i moved them over to my secondary monitor, IT also has the color issue.

I know that the issue has nothing to do with the programs that were showing it because i took screenshots and they showed the same symptoms when the adapter was in use.
I have been searching around google for "displayport dvi gamma" and many other variations but have found nothing. this either means that:
1. no one else has had this issue yet
or
2. other people don't notice it.

Any help here would be appreciated.
i would like to post some sort of screenshot to show you what im talking about but it would look the same to everyone else (in other words i actually need to take a picture of my monitors with a camera and i dont think that would turn out well)

Ok that is very weird. Somehow i solved it by moving the adapters to opposite ports rolleyes.gif
