So I decided to build a custom computer desk. This is what i have so far.
Any advice?

Advice...make sure that those overhanging parts have enough support and maybe do a mock-up to make sure it feels right (I think you can look it up, but I think average desk height is 28 or 30 inches).

Is this your first construction type project?


EDIT: Also, looking at it again. Is that a raised platform for your mouse? If so, I don't think that would be ergonomic/ comfortable. Have you tried out something similar with your current set-up?

Seems pretty busy for someone who is building their first desk. Only you know your woodworking skills, but i always try to employ K.I.S.S. thumb.gif
