What really is the safe voltage for BD?

Hey guys...I got a quick one for you all.

What really is the maximum safe 24/7 OC voltage for a BD chip, i've heard some people saying 1.4v other 1.45v and some even 1.55v...so again quick answers...Not max OC voltage, an estimate of the voltages for a 24/7 oc to avoid degradation.

The safest voltage is probably the one programmed into your CPU. biggrin.gif Unless people are frying their FX CPUs - which I have not seen posts saying this, then I doubt anyone knows yet precisely where the sweet spot is for a 24/7 operation PC.

One of the key clues is CPU temp. The better your CPU cooling typically the higher voltage you can run without killing your CPU. My suggestion would be see what it takes to OC your CPU to the highest, stable speed without exceeding 60C under P95 and back up a notch for 24/7 use.
