yep figured it out just a hairdryer to get the glue tacky and it pried right off...now just have to source some adhesive strips...does it have to be thermal conductive though i was more under the impression the "heatsinks" on rams didnt really do THAT much...

not really, but putting something on there that insulates puts you at risk

ok good to know, ill go for the thinnest source of adhesive tape and try that...its only a 25$ ram stick so no big deal if it dies...heres some pre paint photos....i now know why no one does this as its ridiculously meticulous it took near 40 minutes to get one ram stick pryed apart and than glue removed..
