Sorry for the extremely late reply,

The Side filter is this way because the panel fan is a 140mm, and filter is 120mmm. By tilting it 45 degrees, I managed to tie it by its corners, wich would have been impossible otherwise. Thanks for the comments.

That stuff right here. Its easy to work with too. All you need is a box cutter, a straight edge and some special glue.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Plastruct-Bondene-Styrene-ABS-Plastic-Solvent-Cement-2-oz-Bottle-/160898633140?_trksid=p2992.m2065&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D21%26meid%3D2738832923498226363%26pid%3D100026%26prg%3D1009%26rk%3D2%26sd%3D150921573862%26

Thats the glue.

Do one or two cuts with the box cutter then bend it over a corner for it to snap. Sand all the surfaces with a 120 grit, especially the cut surface and where you are going to glue the other piece to it. Then glue the corner together. Once it dries put glue in the crease that you can see so it melts it together and sand it more. Then sand it all with a 240 and then a 400 grit and it will have a nice smooth finish to it. Paint if you want to but if you have a white there is no need.

Thanks bro..
But I live in India and don't know when it'll come here. My old laptop also gives me some mother board problems.. Really gotta buy a PC soon.
The only thing that is holding me back from buying the 410 is the absence of Filters. I get a lotta dust in my room (Have a really big door right next to my desk).
Is there any way to get an aftermarket filters that does the fitering job for the phantom 410?

Pretty sure you can just mount these on all the fans.

There is a good chance that he can help you if you ask him nicely smile.gif But between me asking Xnine for help and NZXT i think they both sent out 3 fans cause i got 2 diff shipments of 3 fans each on 2 diff days. But i did use some for a build for a church raffle and that hat i asked them for.
NZXT are all about modding and they will help out modders in any way they can even if it means giving you things that are hard to find or replace they really are an awesome company especially to us modders and they are very good sponsers of builds.
It really does suck that they don't sell the case fans and i have no idea why they would make a killing off of the sales of those fans. They are the onlt ones that have blue led's and white fan blades. The 140mm led fans you can buy are way diff have black fan blades i think. I can remember but i know they looked stupid in the build i did. It was pretty much the same build as my rig all the same parts mainly. If i can help you get some let me know and i'll ask around, there are a few in the club that have some fans for sale and i doubt you would pay what you did for the one you bought.

Hah, interesting. You know did you mention that it was for a church raffle? could be part of it.

I'm not too worried about getting one now bud I bought the one I wanted and then ended up buying three Gelid Silent 12 fans to fill the extra fan spaces and now I'd only have room for it on the side, and that sounds like a plane. perhaps it was just that fan I could try the one I already had but frankly it's not worth the effort since a fan there probably wouldn't change cooling much.

But these will still allow dust to enter into the cabinet right? Between the gap in the case and the fan?
Can u please tell me these:
It comes with 1 fan a the front , 1 at the top and 1 at the back right? (factory fitted?)
Which of them sucks in air inside? I guess I don't have to worry about the ones that suck out air about accumulating dust?

Thanks

PS: I have already extended my budget by 20$ to get this case instead of the Corsair 400r and these fans will cost me another 20$+/piece here (Amazon does not ship those to india). So can't afford any after market filters right now. (may be after a month of so).

In what way does the dust that's being sucked in affect my components?

just seen the new images of the NZXT PHANTOM 820! Quick preview before i'm off to University, but my first thoughts are that they tried too hard. I don't really like this case as much as the original, classy, unique design. Nothing could ever replace that in my opinion. Yes, it isn't really bad, but compared to our current cases, I don't think it is worth getting.#

I have a feeling I will end up liking the case soon once I get used to looking at the design. Happens to me all the time, even with my Phantom 410! Found it ugly at first but couldn't stop staring at it!

yes, three fans, front is intake, top and rear are exhaust. I'd just worry about the intake if you're worried about dust, and if you don't use the computer for extended periods you'll see some dust fall down the top onto that fan. just like any other thing in your home...

Dust mainly is an insulator and restricts airflow. if you get a filter you'll have to vacuum it regularly depending on how dusty your environment is.

It does look odd, and EXPENSIVE. sheesh, does NZXT do the price-drop marketing or do things debut about the same price as they will continue to be? It looks like a nice case but huge and I don't see an front intake screen. I mention this because even if you sparingly use that front 200mm fan, you bypass the whole POINT of having a lower dust screen. Granted lots of dust will accumulate on the table beneath the computer potentially getting sucked up into it, but I notice plenty of dust in the front of my case after only a month or so use.

I like the color changing, a bit odd that they would kill the need for the Hue in this case but it's nice to have it come complete with colors. A little harder to make it custom that way but I suppose it's easy enough for everyone to get a Hue.

Enough of that though I suppose I shouldn't go much further into it, this isn't the right thread. (There's gotta be one elsewere, no?)

Yeah i dunno about the Phantom 820 yet, there are some things i like , like the built in air filters on the top, bottom, front, and side. Also like the built in Hue Controller, but i'd rather buy a switch and buy a Hue and still have plenty on money left over to mod the hell out of it!!! smile.gif It costs way too much. Oh i almost forgot i like how they are using all bigger fans 200mm up top, 200mm up front, 200mm in the side and a 140 in the rear. I bet its quiet tho.
