I concur. Definitely worth removing that middle HDD bay. My airflow in the Phantom 410 is so good I rarely collect dust inside the tower. smile.gif

I love my Cooler Master HAF 912 and even though that has good airflow, it collects a lot of dust. I have to guess about three times as much dust.

Twist ties are your friend and the back side of the Phantom 410 gives you just enough room to hide all those cables. wink.gif

ADD ME
This was my second build ever and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
However, I'm wondering how everyone fit the H100s in their case

Xata - I set the fans on outer top as pull fans with rad inside mounted on top. Profile pics show no space for push fans inside. Still have great temps that allow my Ivy 3770K reach 4.5 GHz over clock with more than acceptable temps. smile.gif

Well CRAP. I didn't want to remove it but now I'm wanting to, but what about that internal fan mount? I guess I could move that fan to the side intake or maybe sell it... then I also have to do a BUNCH of cable rerouting because I have lots of cable hidden behind it. bleh.

I don't have a GPU though, so I'm thinking I'll wait until I get one to do that, because my case is already pretty darn cool and the only fan I don't have is the side panel... every other one is filled. smile.gif

That's fit man! thumb.gif

If anyone remembers I'm that fan guy! I've finally ordered my bits and bobs so here it goes!

  • Phantom 410 Black/Orange
  • H100 water cooler
  • Artic Accelero Twin Turbo GPU cooler which is for my GTX 480. When I was doing work for Nvidia they gave me one but the stock cooler was like a jet engine no joke!
  • NZXT Orange LED cabling 2M long
  • Two Akasa black apache fans (For the radiator)
  • Two Aerocool Sharks Evil black edition 120mm (Orange LEDs)

Excited but I still have to wait until I get my old PC back from my ex's house which is just under two weeks thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

I do have a new question now. Well maybe not new to you guys but anyway: What way should I be installing the radiator and fans? Radiator on top with fans underneath it but should they be acting as an exhaust or turned around so they intake air essentially keeping the radiator cooler. My problem then would be that I only have ONE exhaust fan.

Thanks folks!

It's getting there, I'm still waiting for the video card but I figured I would get everything else sorted while I wait.
