Do we have a Corsair Rep in our OCN Community? My PSU fan is getting right on my he-hooters! Developed a noise a few days ago. I've had it out and there is nothing obvious - I'm thinking the bearings tbh.

did you try lubing them? I would hope they have long life bearings but maybe they aren't maintenance free?

I looked at it and now I've forgotten if it would be easy to remove and modify, it does seem a tad too far from the door, I could shave down the little nubs on the door itself that land on rubber stoppers in the front bezel, but then the door wouldn't have the same alignment and would probably be noticeably further in on one side.
I do have to press with both fingers to get mine to lock and unlock though, otherwise it's a bit taxing on my pointer finger. I would LOVE a solution because I love to fiddle with my Hue controller....does anyone have any idea of what we could do? I've had my front face off so many times and I haven't the time to pull it off right now (my drives keep it from coming off easy)
He means the black plastic tracks that the bay was installed into, check out my build to see what it looks like without those tracks, you just need a short philips screwdriver to remove one screw on each, then slide it loose and out. If you don't have a short screwdriver try using a screwdriver bit from a multi-tool, mine were pretty easy to turn so you might be able to just use that as a last resort. It will brighten up and make your case easier to clean, and help airflow a bit:

Alright, ill have a look in the case tomorrow, because im going to clean out dust and touch up the cable management around the bottom a little bit so ill look for it then. btw i like what youve done with that SSD, really shows it off and looks awesome biggrin.gif

coolbeans, let us know what you think of that front door catch if you take the front face off. I'll have to next time I clean for dust in the coming weeks...

Thank you kindly, I was really excited that it worked out so well. If you have a drive bay mount for your SSD, see if you can get one or more screws to match up with the holes already in the case, since most should be the same because it's standardized you should be able to get similar results with a couple drive mounting screws. the holes I used are not conventional screw holes but the slits that the tracks fit into, but with a wide screw head it clams down just fine.

Some awesome cases out there, here is just a few of mine with link to all pictures. NZXT!

More, Full Photobucket Photos HQ

My setup

Install Corsair H100i

Asus P8Z77-V Pro Motherbaord/Intel Core i5-3570K Processor [Overclocked to 4.2GHz]

Corsair HX650w PSU

Corsair 8GB 1600mhz Memory Cas8

2xCorsair AF120mm, 1xCorsair AF 140mm, 4xCorsair SP120 [all quiet edition]

Font Case Mod

Everything else is pretty much stock at the moment a lot of future upgrades to come.

Future Upgrades:
Asus Blu-ray Player
2xSamsung 840 120GB SSD
WD 1TB Black HDD
MSI Radeon HD 7850 [maybe upgrade depends on what is out and the prices in the future when I go to actually purchase it. I have a blue theme going, would like a video card with blue]
Backlit Keyboard
Corsair Vengeance 2000 Wireless Headset /or Turtle Beach Headset [unknown model at the moment]
Computer Chair
Might downgrade to Asus 23" IPS Monitor but not for certain
Will be selling all stock NZXT fans and the extra Corsair AF120mm

I'm new to the group and this website, but Phantom all the way. Wish I could afford the 820, it's monster.

Is that a 140mm on the bottom? If not can a 140mm fit on the bottom?
