Nothing is really wrong with the stock fan controller, I just life more control over my fans for certain temps thus why I use the Asus FAN Xpert 2 as well. I have my back cleaned up as well, not as great because I'm still waiting to get my HDD and 2xSDD before it's completely cleaned up. xD

Cool, glad to hear it works well, what board do you have? I have to check voltages and see if my p8z77v-pro would be ok with splitting fans. how does it read RPM's when you tether two fans to the same header? also, did you pair identical fans to the same header or have some headers with two different fans?

I don't think you're going to get much change for the work involved, if it were even possible, which sounds like iwalkthedead said was impossible. I think that two good looking fans would show up a bit through the front, but even then not a huge deal in my opinion. you only see 2/3 of the bottom fan and 1/4 of the top fan, give or take, when you look straight on. if you don't have lighting in there like me though, you see close to NOTHING through the black screen. In other words, nobody will know if you have one fan, two, or NONE.thumb.gif

I have all the identical fans to each header, I have the same board as you Asus P8Z77-V Pro and everything runs very well. You can check my build log that I guess I should update soon with better photos since I have all my fans installed now. I might take out the middle fan and the middle hard drive bay for some more air flow even though I have SP120s in the front.

I'm thinking about lowing the two 120 fans, i don't know if it's possible, but if it its, it's gonna de sick, and i will use NZXT FZ orange fans (:

cable management my friend, saying you dont know where to put it.....this case has so many cable management hidy holes (yes i call them that) its not even funny! run them behind the mobo tray, as said before cable tie to the 5.25" drive bays...so many ways you can do it and really tidy that rig up.

Also get rid of the removeable hdd bracket clips since your not using it. theyre only held in place by a single philips head screw!

BTW your cpu cooler is a F$#@% MONSTER! LoL

You can keep trying and wait or you can buy a black 410 and paint the trim. thumb.gif If I could personally help you in some way, I would without question.

saw one on ebay:
"Location: United States"
the shipping price is going to blow a hole through my roof, but i reckon it's kinda worth it. it looks amazing. not really a modder/workshoppy guy, so painting isn't my best bet. thanks smile.gif
