Also the 1/8" is nice and easy to heat with a heatgun and mold to whatever shape or curves you want.

Chino, a hair dryer can be used to mold?

Best is a heat gun. I got one for less than $20 at Harbor Freight Tools to mold lexan for R/C car bodies.

At least, see the context and that wasn't just me that was rude, and that, indeed, i didn't start with it.

Is it just me or do the small fan screws that came with the Phantom 410 are REALLY hard to screw into new fans.

Fresh threads? the fans don't come pre-threaded so yes if you're screwing in a fan a way it wasn't screwed in stock it will be difficult because the screw is threading the plastic on it's own.

If it's been threaded it's not that hard, make sure you're using the appropriate size Philips head screwdriver so it doesn't slip out, and perhaps back the screw out until you feel it "pop" down into the threads, then try again.
