I just added another blanking plate to cover the whole behind the old hard drive bays too. I might get some pics soon.

I have a question, i finally pulled the trigger on my Intel parts, ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 and a 3570k. i will obviously remove my old mobo and fx4100 and replace them with my new parts. What im wondering is what is involved after that as far as do i have to re-install windows, remove my AMD drivers and so on? The build im running right now is my first ever so i have never done a switch like this before. Do i just install my new mobo and proc and re-install windows and update all the drivers for my new hardware or how does this work?
Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

You can either:
remove all AMD-related drivers, then swap parts, and install the new mobo drivers.
or:
swap parts, and then reinstall windows, then install the new mobo drivers.

option 1 is quicker, saves you the hassle of installing old programs, but may cause errors.
