While I have painted a phantom 41o I think is was a really easy case and just make sure your paint is high quality and I think since you say you have no experience there is a first for every thing.... just kidding but I do like the idea that wmoffat had of white case with pink lighting ..... hello kitty theme there

the decal idea would be the easiest and may be cheapest as well rolleyes.gif but my wife deserve the best dammit! so im going to attempt to paint everything that is white on the case, and if i fail i can always cover it up with some cute decals whistle.gif also i will not be painting any components, but i will be getting some pink fans with leds, so far i can only find them on ebay, ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/120-x-25mm-4-Pins-Cooling-CPU-Heatsink-Fans-4-LED-Light-for-Computer-PC-Case-/140889370591?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=440091015492&hash=item20cda92fdf )
doesnt seem like they push a lot of air, any ideas?

^^ AHAH i know the feeling and if my wife asked me to build a pc (she doesnt know where the on button to mine is doh.gif ) i would build her the most awesome amazing pc ever CREATED BY MAN!!! LoL

But to your point they are 17.5DB so they wont be quiet when you have the fan controller cranked to full mine are 19DBA and yeah....they're loud LoL. But for 2.88$ you get what you pay for. As long as you equip the 212 evo with dual 120mm fans in push pull (will give tyour cpu good temps) and a good cooler on the GPU i dont think it matters a whole heap.

didnt even know they made pink fans LoL specool.gif

Just bought the 410 a few days ago, spent the weekend migrating my gear across and tidying up cables. This is my first decent case and my first go at cable management. Very happy with the case, working with it was a breeze. Question... is the fan behind the HDD cage really worth it? At the moment I have 2x 140mm at the top, push/pull H60 exhausting the back, 2x 120mm intakes at the front, 1x120mm intake at the bottom. Not sure if I should change the H60 fans so they push/pull intake. Would the 2x 140mm at the top be enough for exhaust?

Couple of gripes though... the weak attempt filtering fans. And the catch on my cd-rom door is broken. This is after a handfull open and closes, now it doesn't shut properly. Currently sits a few mm's open. I've looked and pulled it apart and it looks like a part that can be replaced. The part is on the main chassis and can be detached, not the one on the door. If anyone has a clue as to where I can get a replacement pls let me know. Thanks!

Please advise if I should do anything different!

Looks nice. When I first got mine I thought the catch on the drive window was broken too, but actually you just have to push down on the arrow locating on the right, where the trim of it is darker. It's kind of hard to see at first.

Nah, mines actually broken. I had it working a few times before it failed. Took the little part out and had a look inside and can see the white "catch" inside is not "catching" anymore.

Do you think a "Zalman CNPS12X Heatsink and Fan" would be ok in this case?

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zalman-CNPS12X-Heatsink-and-Fan/dp/B0062L8ZN0/ref=pd_sim_computers_89

It's a bit of beast and might make things harder later for me.
I'm jumping the gun a bit as i haven't bought the processor yet, I just happened to be looking at cooling systems.

Thank you.

im sure ive seen this cooler in the bitfenix prodigy cases. i think it will be fine, most of us run the hyper 212 evo as its the best value for money and keeps temps quite happy for an air cooler. Me personally i'd look at the 212 or the 412 (slimmer version of it) and save the coin...i dont think you'll see any difference in temp between the 2 the only difference is the $$ you'll save.
