I used AS-5 which takes time to cure, hoping it would bring down temps eventually. if not i'm going to reseat the block and use the provided TIM from swiftech.

My mobo got in the way of the fill port that is raised from the rad, the 120mm fan wasnt the issue. Yea Im planning to cut the tubes sooner or later.

Thanks for the comments! This is my first rig ever, and I'm really happy with it. And the Phantom 410, damn... It was love at first sight! redface.gif

Thanks! I opted for a no-frills mechanical keyboard because they look so much more elegant. Typical backlit gaming keyboards are too loud for my taste.

Yeah, this monitor is GREAT. I had zero qualms with it since I bought it. Great colors and viewing angles. But some unlucky dudes got units from a bad batch I guess and their monitors suffer from backlight bleeding. frown.gif I'll try that suggestion of yours, especially once I buy an SSD for the rig. smile.gif

Thanks! It wasn't really hard for me because orange is my favorite color. smile.gif Plus, I bought the keyboard and orange keycaps like a year ago, so once I saw the Black/Orange Phantom 410, I knew I had to get that case! Then once I was decided on the case, I bought the XXL steelseries fnatic mousepad to complement the whole shebang. smile.gif

oh well that's good then. it might look more tidy been the other way that's what I think I will do If the 120ml fan don't get in the way like you said just hope I can have the fans inside the case as well hmm no looking there is less than a inch between my second top fan and the ram slots so rad would need to be on top and fans inside will that work do you think?

Yea I wish I could have mounted it the other way frown.gif The rad wont wont fit up top unless you mod/cut the top panel unfortunately. You are going to have to mount it inside with the fans pulling for this case.

I hope it's ok to ask 3 pretty simple question here... 453 pages to read is a bit too much for me. So...
1. Is there any "special" NZXT fans installed, so I won't be able to install my own 120/140mm ones? Asking because Full Tower Phantom have this issue, it's 200mm fans actually 192mm, so fans from other brands just won't fit in. That's kinda unacceptable...
2. *Actually used search before, but just want to be sure". Noctua NH-D14 will fit without any problems?
3. Is it hard to remove power button? Sticking power button seems to be a common issue with this case, even one I tried in the store was like that. I saw that can be easily fixed by removing the button and cutting a bit of the plastic from the button. Just wonder if it's done easily or not.

Thanks in advance.

1 yes there all regular fan mounts
2 i dont know
3no it is not it is held in place by 4 plastic clips and then you can pop it out and lightly wet sand the egdes of the pwr button and it wont sticl any any more

what do you guys think will be better for airflow? i'm using all stock case fans and H100i fans. i placed my 140mm LED fan as front intake and placed the 120mm front intake as bottom intake, like this:

i believe this currently creates a negative pressure inside my case (if at all, because the side panel holes are wide open haha)

i'm thinking if it will be better if i change it to this.......

.....since it will feed fresh, cold air to the H100i exhaust and it will blow over the power delivery and RAM components on my mobo. it will also create a positive pressure in the case which, hopefully, will reduce dust buildup inside. one concern i have though is it might disrupt the airflow coming from the front and bottom intakes. and the H100i tubes probably will have to go the other way around if i'm to make the back fan as intake, so it won't block airflow...

what do you guys think? i'm really new to this and i just read most of these ideas from suggestions in other threads here in OCN. thanks!
