There may have been a rad that fits but it would be very hard to find one and there wouldnt be many options either. You can probably fit two 120mm rads with the barbs facing out to the window panel and not need to modify the drive bays but that would make tubing a nightmare.

It was on here, I think though it was a H100i, I would try to find the post to see what it exactly looked like but I have no clue on who it was but it was a while ago. xD

You make valid points xD

I dont have my hands on a radiator, as this will be my first loop. But I feel like when I do have one, my work will be cut out for me as I can see exactly what needs to be done.

I am uncertain of how to drill out the rivets of the second HDD cage.. Can you explain exactly the method?
easy get drill...drill into where rivets are until drill falls through! try to get a drill bit similar size to the rivet as to big can open up to big of a hole. oh and without stating the obvious PLEASE REMOVE HARD DRIVES OUT OF THE BAY BEFORE DOING THIS LOL....

its not that hard mate, took me all of 10 mins, and then i find out a 240mm rad wont fit mad.gif .....still trying to think of a smart way around it...possibly as greg suggested but i dont know how clean it would look...and structural strength is also a consideration..

You only really have to cut out about a 120x 55mm hole to fit a 60mm thick radiator. The strength isnt really lost from cutting the drive bays but more drilling the rivets on the hard drive cages out.

Thanks for the feedback man, I actually have the 140mm nzxt fan mounted on that drive bay pointing right at my gpu. And I have two 120mm fans mounted in the front. It's kinda hard to see, and I might move that fan and take out the drive bay, but it seems to help my temps having that fan pointing directly on the gpu.

I think I recall one PSU damaging other components after it exhibited some symptoms of an early death. You're dealing with the most powerful component so, don't let it shock your PC.

hey thanks for the advice, after trying a couple of times on different sockets and different power strips, i just decided to RMA it. good thing the local Seasonic distributor here is quick to reply and replaced my unit on the spot. so far so good, my new PSU is dead silent.

i still have to monitor it though, since my previous PSU was also silent when i first bought it. is it possible that something in my house ruined the PSU? unstable current or something?

^^ i doubt it....coil whine like that normally suggests a problem with the unit. If theres an electrical fault in your household wiring firstly the PSU wouldnt be the only thing playing up. 2ndly they have fuses in them that are designed to blow before it harms the components...id wouldnt worry unless thecoil whine started again.

structurally after removing the bottom hdd cage i felt no wiggle at all...i wouldnt imagine it would do much at all?
