i reversed my configuration because after 2 months of operation, i noticed that the air blowing out is not that strong anymore. i removed the fans and there has already been some significant dust buildup between the rad and the fans. some disadvantages that i can think of when the fans are inside:
1.) installing/removing the fans while inside the case is a BIG PAIN IN THE !@#$. a lot of stuff get in the way of the screws like RAM, the 8-pin power connector, the H100i block/hoses, etc etc etc. i usually remove my RAMS and Graphics Card when unscrewing the fans from within so I have a lot of room to work the screwdriver angles.

unlike when the fans are mounted outside, its a lot easier to screw/unscrew the fans from the rad.

2.) you need to remove the fans to clean the rad when the dust starts building up in between.

but with the fans outside, you can just brush off the dust on the rad from inside the case.

How is it in terms of performance? Did u notice a increase of temps cuz of the fans outside?

I may buy a H110 and put the rad inside and the 2 oem 140mm Blue led fan on the outside.

in terms of performance, i've heard and read online reviews that say that running push or pull doesn't really matter that much.

personally, i really can't tell because another reason why i reconfigured my H100i setup is because I had to reseat the pump/waterblock. i can't remember my exact temperatures when i first installed my H100i, but recently my idle temps had been reaching the high 40's, and LIGHT LOAD temps were reaching high 50's to low 60's.

i started to get concerned because it shouldn't be that high for light load, so i decided to reseat my pump. when i removed it from my processor, the stock thermal paste was already starting to become thin. after reseating/reconfiguring, i am again getting below 40c idle temps, and just below 50 for normal load (not gaming load).

ambient temps here in the Philippines are pretty high, that's why i never get sub 35 temps. haha.

Hey guys, I just got my H100i installed, and I've never overclocked before, so I went into the Bios, disabled turbo boost and set the multiplier to x44, and the vcore to 1.22, and it says 4.4 GHz in computer properties and in the Bios, but when i run Prime 95 it only says 3.9 GHz? Is there any particular reason for this? Thanks!
My specs are:
Intel core i5 3570k CPU
Corsair H100i CPU Cooler
MSI Z77A G45 Gaming Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 2x4 GB Ram
Corsair TX850 V2 PSU

Edit: Also, that one had only been running for 30 seconds, but i ran a previous one for about 2 Hours and it was the same

Need an evaluation of my fan set up
I'll start off with my fans and an image showing where they are placed.

On my DK II I have a Deepcool UF140X > http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835999046

On the bottom is the fan that came with the DK II with a second fan that I bought from Xiggy on the front both as intakes > http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835233035

Rest are stock fans. I'd like to know if this set up will have nice postitive pressure as the dust is really getting annoying to clean. mad.gif

Here's the set up in a picture. Red is exhaust , blue is intake and purple are heatsink fans with flow direction.

Hello guys one question.

There is (enough) space to put a single 120mm Rad at the bottom of the case???
Will be problem for PSU Cables (i have a modular psu)

Thanks
I wanna change my GPU (660 Ti) to GTX 780 (watercooled) and i want to put extra 2x 120 rads (back and bottom).
I have already a 240 rad at the top

^^ it will fit but it'd be damn tight! id say remove the hard drive cage and do an external closure for the drives (connect via esata) and then do a 240mm in the bottom biggrin.gif

I dont want to make any change to my case.
If i put my grafics card underwater i must use (at least) one 120 rad because my 240 rad at the top is 35mm.

I saw at page 479 a 120 rad at the bottom but i dont know about the pump...GRrrrrr
