Hey guys I'm thinking of spraying my top and front bezel to make it look more metallic and less plasticky looking.

Any types of paint to recommend?

I believe any regular spray paint you want. I always try to use Primer Plus Paint, but that's just me. Go with some good metallic like you said, should turn out well. I used 3 coats to get it really nice and even looking but I actually used Krylon Fusion, better for plastics but that is just because it was all I had. Turned out very well, especially for it being in the Winter.

is it worth putting filters on the intake fans?

the dust building up in my 3-month phantom is annoying, but i'm worried that placing filters would reduce the airflow significantly.

I have been hearing more and more good things about DEMCiflex computer filters, here is one for the 410. Easy to use, magnetic, custom fitted and looks pretty nice.
