Speaking of that, I think I'll make the trims red on mine ( the rest will remain black ). For that job, would it be better to get a black/white trims case ? or black/orange, or all black ?

wohooo!! I finally had a few minutes to take some images.

I haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd share how my tower currently looks. I've installed rear and bottom effects lighting to match the keyboard, and accent lighting projecting on my desk below the monitors to match the tower interior.

Interior and monitors are controlled by the NZXT HUE, while the keyboard and PC exterior are controlled by an ebay controller. All lights are the 50/50 SMD RGB LED's or however they call them, so just like the HUE I can pick whatever color I want from it's capabilities.

I have noticed the NZXT and my 3rd party LED's fade in the blue channel over time to produce a less true-blue. It's a bit lighter not but still pretty. More like this image than the deep blue you see when new. I noticed this when I installed a fresh set of LED's under my monitors, the colors didn't match! rolleyes.gif

For those of you wondering, here's how I placed the lower LEDs I've attached an image below. The back view shows the three LED modules that light the wall. For wiring, follow that wire from the top left LED module to my 3-way splitter, then to the controller.

On the other side of the controller is the lead to the IR remote sensor on the side of the case, and also the power supply line that connects to a wire by standard 2.5mm connector which is then fed into my case. The whole system is fed 12v by my PSU.
Thus, all LEDs are fed via the computer's power supply so I don't have ugly wall warts. If I choose to run the lights on the keyboard and exterior to run while the PC is switched off, I can easily disconnect the power lead and connect a 12v wall-wart power supply. biggrin.gif

To explain the clutter; there is another white wire leading out of the same hole (upper rubber grommet) that feeds power to the monitor accent LEDs, daisy-chained onto the NZXT HUE LEDs with another 3-way splitter, along with extra interior LEDs (double the amount of the standard HUE). So yes I have nearly 90 LEDs running on my HUE controller.
The one below that grommet is a 12v USB connector that I use to cool an external hard drive fan. It ran to hot, and I had to fix it without voiding my warranty while maintaining portability and easy disconnect. So, it's labeled "DANGER 12V!" and pulls power from my PSU as well. thumb.gif

In total I have 30LEDs under my monitor, 30 in the keyboard, 30 on the exterior, and 30 PLUS however many the stock HUE has on the case interior.

Bottom. You may also notice my paper fan block-off plate so ALL my air comes in the FRONT and gets a mild filtration via stocking mod. I felt the huge hole in the bottom of the front face defeated any filtering I wanted to do so I used some 8.5x11" and scotch tape to carefully close the hole.

I want to share you guys inside picture of my 410.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Still planning window mod (all tools have been bought), new case fans still under thinking, cant decide do i want noctua fans or bitfenix pro fans with white led.
Also acryl has been bought that i can make myself psu cover, maybe, cant decide on that is it better with it or without it. Life is hard, so much decisions biggrin.gif

I really love this case, it was very easy to hide those PSU cables.

Cable management is clean as. Middle HDD cage removed too should help with airflow and give it a cleaner look, i've pulled it out of mine too.
Looks nice man! thumb.gif

Don't think have ever seen this thread , I have a red 410 in my profile pics and bought a black/orange recently for my little lad. Great midi case, been very happy with it. Just do not like the windowed door, I run mine without but been considering trying an acrylic full window mod of some kind for a while.
