Guys I know this has been asked a few times in this thread before, but I cannot find a clear answer. How do you mod the case to accept the Kraken x60? From what I've found the rad on it has a 15mm fan spacing and the case has 20mm spacing, so you need to drill new holes for the second fan. Where exactly do I drill these holes and how?

(Ps: Do you have to remove the CD drives when you take off the front panel?)

measure each of the holes out, check, double check and then drill them out. Did I mention check? I can't say exactly how to do it as I didn't get the kraken but it seems the best way.

Also you will not need to remove the CD drive to get the front panel off, although taking the CD drive out makes it a lot easier to work with the top rad mount.

I'm gonna cut out the bottom side window. I want to make it as neat as possible. Any recommendations on what tools to use exactly?

Most guys will recommend a dremel or jigsaw followed up by sanding the edges down. Up to you if you wanna put U-channel molding in there too but I wouldn't bother.

A dremel should set you back about $80-$100 for a nice starter kit. Comes in handy for other stuff too so it's an awesome investment.

Just cut the section out, sand it nice and straight, and stick on your clear panel.

Hope this helps somewhat.

Yea you can see the outlets are about an inch too high to fit. Not a big job to cut a section out.
