I will need to set the speed to middle, then it starts to spin. Once it is spinning, i can lower the speed to lowest and it still keeps on spinning... (i am still using the stock case fans, they are quiet.) Anyone of have this same issue before? How did you fix it? doh.gif

Many thanks.

It's an inherent trait of fans to only start from a certain voltage and up, and the lowest setting (5V iirc) must not be enough voltage for that certain fan.

I don't know of any way to make starting voltage lower, but you could buy a fan with a lower starting voltage, like the Scythe GT.
Or just start at 9V and go back down to 5V whenever you turn on the computer.

I have made the decision to swap my buid out to the H440, will be passing the phantom to my little lad. The window and the psu shroud was the tipping point.

Any of you guys experiencing the power button getting stuck?
Not the power button but my reset button gets stuck every time I push it. I have to take the panel off to push it back up. I've since stopped using it!

file the side of the case down where the reset button/power button is so it doesnt catch anymore smile.gif

Hey, I could use a bit advice regarding a couple things (got a 410 gunmetal). I've got a GTX 780 GHz edition in mine with only the case fans that came with the 410 and I've noticed quite a bit of heat being output from the 780 as well as temperatures significantly higher than what reviews put them at. My cable management is pretty good, but I'm worried my case simply doesn't have good enough airflow for my wondrous little monster of a card (to keep it as cool as it could). What ares would be the most effective in adding a fan to, the side panel?

Secondly, just an obsessive thing, but my 410 came with a notable scratch on its (non-window) side panel and I was wondering if it would be possible to purchase another side panel for it from somewhere? I found nothing on NZXT's website. Thanks.

I would definitely put a fan on the side panel, then it will shoot directly onto the gpu. GPU's are fine when they're running around 80C. In my case I have a custom window so I do not have a fan on the side panel. I do have 3 sp120 intake's (2 in the front, 1 on the bottom) and they are switched to the middle setting of the case's fan controller, they are pretty quiet. But everything runs nice and cool. It's up to you to get all fan spots filled (I would). But some people want super quiet. I would suggest just the side panel fan for now and if that doesn't satisfy your needs throw in a front and bottom intake.

I was trying to find a spare side panel in case I screw up when modding the window. So far I haven't found anywhere to get spares. I suppose you could shoot a PM to the Rep on this site but I am not sure who that is? Hopefully someone else will be able to tell us.
